TicWatch unveils a competitor to the Apple Watch Ultra priced at $350, and it looks fantastic

Tired of the high prices of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Apple Watch Ultra 2? The new TicWatch Atlas from Mobvoi offers a compelling alternative without breaking the bank. Priced at just $350, this powerful smartwatch comes with a long list of great features and a durable design aimed at replicating the “Ultra” smartwatch experience at a much lower price.

The TicWatch Atlas is designed with a sandblasted stainless steel body to withstand the elements and handle even the most demanding environments. But it’s not just about durability; this smartwatch also boasts advanced health and fitness tracking capabilities.

The new heat map feature is a standout, visualizing the most frequented workout locations. This provides detailed information about your workout, including duration, distance, and calories burned, helping you improve your training. Safety is also a priority, with the fall detection tool alerting contacts in case of emergencies or automatically calling 911 in case of a fall. With enhanced TicMotion health monitoring, you can track real-time heart rate, calories burned, and Vo2 max even before starting your workout.

In addition to these additions, the TicWatch Atlas retains the essential health tracking features found in previous TicWatch models, such as 24/7 heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, sleep analysis, and snore detection.

But the great features go even further. The TicWatch Atlas features an impressive battery life, providing up to 90 hours in “smart mode” and an amazing 45 days in “basic mode.” The always-on 1.43-inch sapphire crystal display offers exceptional durability and clarity, with 326 pixels per inch, and is dust, water, and shock resistant. Powered by the latest Wear OS 4 operating system from Google, the TicWatch Atlas offers a software experience similar to what you would find in the Google Pixel Watch 3.

At $350, the TicWatch Atlas seems like a great deal. It boasts the same strong design and smart/health features you’d expect from more expensive wearable devices, making the inflated prices of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra at $799 and $650 respectively seem excessive in comparison. We’ll have much more to say about the Atlas soon in our hands-on coverage and upcoming review.

The TicWatch Atlas, available in stylish black and silver colors, can be purchased directly from the Mobvoi website or through Amazon. It is available for purchase now.
