Metal Slug Tactics game was first revealed in June 2021 during the Summer Game Fest event, and since then, news about the game has been completely absent until Dotemu company confirmed postponing the release date to 2023, then to 2024, and now we have an official and final release date.
Dotemu and developer Lekir Studio announced that Metal Slug Tactics will be released on November 5, just two weeks from now, and they present a new promotional trailer showcasing tactical gameplay in the game, while also featuring some of the famous Metal Slug characters that will appear in the title.
With familiar elements in different characters and arcade elements combining with a new tactical RPG gameplay style, Metal Slug Tactics continues to offer intriguing promises.

Metal Slug Tactics game unites Marco, Eri, Fio, and Tarma as they lead the Peregrine Falcon Squad team in a new battlefield through strategic and dynamic combat. Players use classic Metal Slug weapons, make use of skill trees, and utilize the adrenaline-fueled system to outwit and destroy the distinctive villains of the series.
Metal Slug Tactics challenging missions build levels from manually crafted terrain sets, making battle plans unpredictable and ensuring winning encounters through calculated strategy rather than memorization. The Roguelite elements make the missions highly repeatable.
Upon its launch on November 5, Metal Slug Tactics will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
