Official announcement of the cover for Resident Evil 2 game and a set of images that reveal several terrifying surprises.

As expected for weeks, Capcom revealed today at the Comic-Con event in San Diego details about the game Resident Evil 2 that were presented during a press conference held by the developers.

Several important details were discussed, including the official cover of the game, which has been completely changed from the original version. Both the hero Leon and Claire can be seen surrounded by zombies on the cover, and at the bottom of the image, a panoramic view of the city can be glimpsed.

The cover is full of details that can be seen below. In addition, an amazing image of the character Claire, the sister of the famous character Chris Redfield, was revealed.

She is shown more clearly than before, with her red jacket and detailed clothing, captured using advanced technology where each part is isolated from the other.

This is one of the new technologies being used in upcoming titles, with many games adopting this feature to provide greater realism to characters for a stronger presence. Claire also now has a motorcycle from the well-known brand Harley-Davidson, as seen in the image.

The team also took the opportunity to announce details about the Collector’s Edition, exclusively available at EB Games and Gamestop for $199. It includes exclusive character costumes, special in-game weapons, and a 30cm character figurine.

Additionally, there is an art book containing 32 pages, original game music, and a tape with new game music. For more details, you can see below.

Just a reminder, the release of Resident Evil 2 is expected on January 25th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Stay tuned for more details soon. Best regards.
