New York Times Crossword: Clues and Answers for Tuesday, October 15th

Connections is the latest puzzle game from The New York Times. The game challenges you to categorize a group of 16 words into four secret groups (currently) by figuring out how the words are related to each other. The puzzle resets every night at midnight and each new puzzle has a varying degree of difficulty. Just like Word, you can track your streaks of victories and compare your results with friends.
Some days are harder than others. If you are facing a small problem in solving today’s Connections puzzle, check out the tips and hints below. And if you still can’t get it, we’ll reveal the answers at the end.
How to play Connections
In Connections, you will see a grid containing 16 words — your goal is to organize these words into four groups of four words by identifying the links between them. These groups could include concepts like award-winning video game titles, book series sequences, shades of the color red, restaurant chain names, and so on.
There are generally words that seem to fit multiple themes, but there is one correct answer 100%. You can shuffle the word grid and rearrange it to help see potential links better.
Each group is color-coded. The yellow group is the easiest to identify, followed by the green, blue, and purple groups.
Select four words and click Submit. If you are correct, the four words will be removed from the grid and the connecting theme will be revealed. Guess incorrectly, and it will be counted as a mistake. You have only four mistakes available until the game ends.
