How to install Windows 10 using your Android phone

Undoubtedly, you are aware of the ways to install the Windows operating system on your computer, such as installing via downloading an ISO image, installing through a USB flash drive, CD ROM, or even an SD Card. However, installation through a phone! The process will be an adventure and a new addition to the ways of installing Windows 10. Our topic for today is how to install Windows 10 from your Android phone. Before starting everything, there must be some settings and conditions to complete the process successfully. All credit goes to the Drivedroid application, through which the entire process will be carried out. Just use your Android phone and a boot process that only takes a few minutes to set up.

Requirements:
* Before following the tutorial, make sure you have the following items:
* Your smartphone must have root permissions.
* 4.45 GB of storage on your smartphone.
* Windows 10 ISO file.
Steps to install Windows 10 from your Android phone:
  • First, download the Drivedroid application by visiting its page on Google Play from here.
  • Once installed, you can run the USB setup wizard to configure the application by clicking on “Setup”.
  • After this step, verify that your phone is not listed in the blacklist, click on “Proceed” and then grant the application root access as shown in the image below.
  • Next, connect your Android phone to the computer via a USB cable.
  • Here you need to select from the USB systems menu to be processed, and luckily most devices will work with the first available USB system.
  • Finally, open File Manager on your computer and make sure your device is recognized as a USB drive or CD-ROM drive, indicating that the device works well with Drivedroid.
Note: If your device does not appear, go back to the previous page and select another USB system until one works.
Preparing Windows 10:
  • Make sure your phone is connected to the computer.
  • Now download the latest Windows 10 ISO file, and transfer it to the internal storage of the phone or an external SD memory card.
  • Open the Drivedroid application and press the “+” icon at the bottom of the screen.
  • Select or click on “Add Image from File”.
  • Label it here and click on the magnifying glass icon to select the path of the ISO file, once done click on the checkmark icon at the top right of the screen.
  • Then press on the newly created file and select one of the hosting options, for example choose “CD-ROM”.
  • The Windows 10 installation process will now begin, and a notification will appear on your phone indicating the success of the installation.
  • The final step is to reboot the computer, and it will boot to the drive where Windows 10 ISO will be installed directly.
