The alien invasion theme that defines Chapter 2 Season 7 of Fortnite was written very well, and it seems to be building towards another epic event. The gameplay changes were not too disruptive, and the space-themed cosmetics also looked fantastic. Additionally, Rick Sanchez’s outfit seemed very fitting for the theme.

Chapter 3 Season 2 revolved around the war between IO and The Seven. The season was rich in details and stories, bringing a lot of destruction to the Battle Royale island. For those who enjoy Fortnite’s backstory, it was definitely one of the most thrilling seasons. The season also appealed to fans of in-game collab outfits, featuring characters like Doctor Strange and The Prowler.

This season, often referred to as Season 12, brought significant changes when it launched in early 2020. The spy-themed Battle Pass introduced players to new exciting points of interest that quickly became fan favorites for the excellent loot they contained. Deadpool’s secret outfit was a fantastic addition, adding to Fortnite’s amazing collaborations with other popular franchises.

After the live event for Chapter 2 Season 8, Fortnite Island was flipped, paving the way for the Flipped season, the first of Chapter 3. This season was full of fun and chaos, giving players a new map after two years of Chapter 2. Additionally, it included some of the most famous outfits in the Battle Pass, like Spider-Man and The Foundation.

Darkness Rises

New Locations: Corn Fields, Corrupted Areas, Floating Island, Haunted Castle
Fortnite’s atmosphere became more eerie with the release of Season 6, coinciding with the Halloween period. Developers made the map darker than players were used to, which was a welcomed surprise for many. This season introduced zombies to Battle Royale, initially seen as a fun addition, although some felt the zombies disrupted endgame situations.

After the chaos of Chapter 3 Season 2, the inhabitants of the Battle Royale island decided to relax and enjoy some peace, planting some Reality Saplings; thus, Chapter 3 Season 3 focuses on relaxation and enjoying time. Like Chapter 1 Season 5, it’s a summer season full of fun water landmarks; during this period, Fortnite hosted the No Sweat Summer event.

You Better Watch Out

New Locations: Frosty Flights, Happy Hamlet, Polar Peak, The Block
Season 7 brought the winter-themed essence to Fortnite, with many fantastic changes that helped propel the game forward during a period when some thought the game was becoming dull. The addition of planes completely changed the way players navigated the map, making matches seem faster and easier to travel. The winter-themed areas were a new addition to the game, and the Battle Pass included some great outfits, including the upgradable Lynx, a fan favorite.
