3 Ways to Convert Text to Image Using Artificial Intelligence on Windows

Artificial intelligence has revolutionized content on the internet, whether written or visual, through the proliferation of websites and tools that create creative images using AI. We have discussed some of them in a previous article. These tools do not require expertise in design or programming; all you need is to write a few words to describe the desired image, and within seconds, you will produce high-quality images with a professional look. In other words, the only limit is your imagination! However, if you are using newer versions of Windows, you may not need to rely on external tools if you want to convert text into an image using artificial intelligence. This is one of the things you can do on Windows without software. Let us explain how through the following three methods.

Creating Images with Artificial Intelligence on Windows

Method 1: Using Microsoft Edge Browser

Microsoft Edge browser has enough features and AI-powered tools to enhance users’ experience and help them improve productivity while browsing, or at least change the traditional way they surf the internet. For those interested in creating high-quality images using artificial intelligence, they can rely on a browser tool called “Image Creator from Designer,” which was the result of a collaboration between Microsoft and OpenAI. The tool is completely free and can be used for entertainment or creative inspiration. The only requirement is to have a Microsoft account.
To start using the tool and convert text into an image with AI in Microsoft Edge, open the browser and click on the Image Creator from Designer icon in the sidebar embedded within the browser window. If this sidebar is not originally present, you can display it by typing [edge://settings/sidebar] in the address bar at the top and pressing Enter, then click on Copilot under App specific settings to activate the Always show sidebar option.
After opening the tool in the sidebar, type the description of the image you want to see (in English) and then click Create. It will take only a minute for 4 images to appear based on the text you entered, each image having a different shape but conveying the same desired idea. You can click on any image to view it in full size in a new tab, and then you can download and save it to your device.

Method 2: Using Copilot Tool

The AI assistant “Copilot” has become part of Windows 11 starting from the Moment 4 cumulative update, as well as Windows 10 starting from version 19045.3757 and above. This tool can be used to accomplish various tasks related to Windows itself, such as changing settings, arranging open windows as requested, obtaining information from the internet, summarizing content, etc. We have previously explained 6 uses of Copilot in Windows, including converting text into an image using artificial intelligence, relying on the Bing Image Creator tool and the DALL.E 3 model from OpenAI.
To start, summon Copilot by pressing the Win + C keys on the keyboard together, then in the sidebar that appears, type the description of the image (in English) you want to get and press Enter to generate 4 different images in moments. Choose one to save on your computer by dragging and dropping. This is for the second method, which works on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 if you are using the latest version.

Method 3: Using the Paint Cocreator Feature

The latest version of the “Paint” program in Windows 11 has a great feature called Paint Cocreator, which specializes in converting text into images using artificial intelligence, with the ability to make necessary edits using the “Paint” tools directly before saving. We have previously explained how to activate and use this feature in detail in an article on creating images with AI through the “Paint” program. We recommend reviewing it if you are interested in trying this method, which is considered the best as Cocreator feature allows you to select the image style before creating it, unlike the previous methods that generate the image based solely on the text written.
