You will not be able to backup your phone without root access from now on! Goodbye ADB.

Android is traditionally known as the most open system for users to make modifications. Most of these modifications can continue to be made, especially if we have root access on the phone. However, Google will be discontinuing one of the most useful functions, which is creating a backup of our mobile phone without the need to root.

The Android Debug Bridge, known as ADB, is a command-line tool that allows us to do several things by connecting the phone to the computer. Thanks to it, we can perform a number of actions, most of which are designed for developers or advanced users.
However, in that list, we find backup and restore commands, which are very useful in creating backups of our mobile phone. This feature is very important in case we need to send the phone for repair under warranty, or if we don’t want to risk losing what is in the original memory with all our information before we start flashing the mobile phone.
Unfortunately, it seems that this function in recent days has its end in the Android system. Google is considering discontinuing this feature soon. Not only unclear intentions of the company, but canceling this function will be preceded by a warning alerting users that this function will no longer be available.

Therefore, those who wish to back up their applications will need to choose other alternatives. Unfortunately, you must first unlock the driver loading tool, so you can delete the data of all the applications we have installed. The only alternative without root is the Android data backup tool, which copies photos, videos, files, as well as data and settings, but unfortunately does not usually copy information from all applications.
