Xiaomi is planning to launch its new phone, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, in a separate event next year, as leaked 3D images reveal the design of the camera in this anticipated version.
The first event for Xiaomi starts before the end of this month to introduce the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro phones, while the Ultra version will be unveiled in February next year. The leaked images show a circular design for the camera unit in the Xiaomi 15 Ultra phone, which features non-traditional camera sensor settings, with an asymmetrical arrangement of sensors between the sides.
Leaks also indicate that the camera unit of the 15 Ultra phone will have a 200-megapixel sensor located at the top of the camera unit, separate from the other sensors. This sensor is expected to feature periscope telephoto lenses to support optical zoom up to 4.3 times, in addition to using Samsung’s ISOCELL HP9 sensor.
In the lower part of the camera unit, the settings include a 50-megapixel main sensor, another 50-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide angles, and a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor to support two times optical zoom, while the selfie camera has a 32-megapixel resolution.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra phone features a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with micro-curved edges on all four sides, and the screen supports a refresh rate of 120Hz. This version also includes the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 6000mAh battery, with support for 90W fast charging technology, and 80W wireless charging.
