Xiaomi officially announced its foldable phone Mix Fold 4. The Mix Fold 4 weighs 226 grams, with a thickness of 4.59mm when open and 9.47mm when closed. The phone features aluminum frames and utilizes strong and lightweight carbon fiber internally, making it more shock-resistant than previous generations. It is also IPX8 water-resistant, allowing it to be submerged in water up to 1.5 meters for half an hour.
The phone has an external OLED display measuring 6.56 inches with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3000 nits brightness. When unfolded, the OLED display measures 7.98 inches with the same specifications and is made of Ultra Thin Glass.
The Mix Fold 4 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, with 12 or 16GB of RAM, 256/512GB/1TB of internal storage, a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast charging, 50W fast wireless charging, and runs on Android 14 with HyperOS interface.
In terms of camera, the phone has a main rear camera with 50MP resolution, OIS, a 50MP 2x optical zoom camera, a 10MP 5x optical zoom camera, a 12MP wide-angle camera, and a 20MP front camera.
The Mix Fold 4 will be available in China starting at 8,999 yuan, which is approximately $1,237.
