Windows 8.1 Officially Released in October

As we know, Windows 8.1 was released as a free update to Windows 8 and the option to upgrade to Windows 8.1 was made available. However, as we mentioned before, it was a trial version and we advised against upgrading now and to wait for the final version. Then came the leaks and unofficial speculations that the final version would be released in August, but now Microsoft officially announces that the final version of Windows 8.1 will be in October, specifically on October 18. We have already presented the new features in Windows 8.1, but there are some other updates that have been added to the final version. The update will be completely free for Windows 8 users through the Microsoft Store.

There are some new features that have been added, such as adding a log out option to the X menu in Windows, as well as animated shapes in the Metro interface. Updates have also been made to the apps. In addition, the app list has been expanded. There is also full integration between Windows and SkyDrive, which is an excellent feature for cloud storage enthusiasts. There are also other features and modifications.

Certainly, everyone is eagerly awaiting Windows 8.1 in its final version after the release of the trial version. When we mention the word “trial”, it means a version that is released and monitored for problems, and efforts are made to address them. Currently, tests are still ongoing on Windows 8.1 until the final version is produced, which is a new, unique version that does not result in partial or complete errors. And since our advice was not to upgrade now and to wait for the final version, I believe we all have no choice but to wait, even though waiting for another two months is a very long period, but we have no choice but to wait.
