When will Android 12 arrive on this best-selling mobile phone?

As one of Samsung’s most popular and best-selling phones of 2020, it’s no surprise that there are many people eagerly awaiting the arrival of Android 12 on the Samsung Galaxy A51. What’s even more exciting is that the company has already started updating some of its latest phones to the latest version of Android.

Thanks to the changes in support policies made by Samsung a few months ago, we know that the Galaxy A51 is part of the list of mobile phones that will receive guaranteed updates for 3 years. What wasn’t clear – until now – is the timing of when this popular device will receive the update.

With the roadmap recently shared by Samsung, we know that the Galaxy S, Z, and Note series phones will be the first to receive the update to Android 12. Shortly after the start of 2022, the company will do the same for mobile phones like the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A42.

In the case of the Galaxy A51 model, we will have to wait a little longer: the best-selling mobile phone of 2020 will receive the update to Android 12 in April 2022.

As usual, it is common to see Samsung start the update first in certain countries, such as South Korea or the United States, before rolling out to other regions and countries.

In any case, Galaxy A51 owners won’t have to wait long to enjoy the One UI 4 features, such as the ability to create automatic themes based on background colors, as well as privacy and security enhancements.
