WhatsApp tests new sticker pack bundling feature for its users
WhatsApp instant messaging platform is testing a new feature that allows users to create their own sticker packs and share them with others. This step is considered an important development that will contribute to improving user experience in managing and organizing stickers.
The new feature is currently available to beta testers through the Google Play Store, and is expected to make it easier for users to organize stickers into groups, rather than saving them in the “Favorites” section. This feature was spotted in the latest beta release of the WhatsApp application on the Android system.
When creating a sticker pack, users will be able to easily share them with friends and groups, allowing others to download the pack with a single click without the need to download individual stickers. According to a report from WABetaInfo, the sticker pack sharing feature is still under development and is expected to be released in future updates to the application.
Additionally, WhatsApp recently added a new feature that allows users to save contacts within the application only, separating them from the phone’s contact list. Meta, the owner of the application, is also working on a feature that allows the app to remember the data and personal details shared by users in their conversations with the integrated artificial intelligence assistant Meta AI, enabling personalized recommendations for users.
Interestingly, WhatsApp is also testing a new dark mode designed for “AMOLED” type phone screens, which will be darker than the traditional dark mode, helping to reduce glare and alleviate eye strain when using the app in low light conditions.
