WhatsApp adds an important feature to its video editor that will benefit you before sending any video to anyone.
Among the video editing programs integrated into messaging applications today, WhatsApp is not the most complete at all. However, the company behind the app plans to continue improving its editor through new features.
In today’s latest version of WhatsApp available for download through its beta program, a new and more useful and convenient feature is close to being included in the WhatsApp video editor. This feature will enable you to mute video clips before sending them with just one touch.
Sometimes, an image is more than enough to enjoy the video. WhatsApp recognizes this, and therefore intends to include a new button in the embedded video editor in the application, so that the clip is completely muted and the audio is removed, leaving only the visual part of the video.
This button will appear, as shown in the image shared by WABetaInfo, below the video timeline directly, allowing us to trim the clip to the desired duration. When clicked, we will mute or unmute the audio manually.
Currently, this feature has not been activated for users yet, and it will take a few days for it to be available to everyone. In the meantime, you can always resort to video editing apps for Android available on Google Play, which allow you to remove audio from clips and make various other edits.
