Watch the development team of Just Cause 4 showcase and boast about the new graphics engine in a video

After the reveal of the game Just Cause 4, since the E3 2018 event, it has been the subject of discussion here on our site through several topics and articles that covered all the content it offers.

The development team Avalanche Studios has also not been idle and has consistently revealed new aspects of the game, whether information or details about gameplay, as well as new features in this installment.

The team returned today with a very distinct video showcasing the graphics engine, Apex Engine, for this release. It was revealed that this engine was specifically developed and designed for Just Cause 4, using highly advanced technologies for physics movements, as well as to suit the atmosphere of the game.

Both in terms of graphics quality and the game world as a whole, the latter has become very dynamic in terms of weather conditions, natural richness, and a wide range of variety in the game environment.

All of this did not come out of nowhere, but was a direction from the developers over the past years to work on refining and developing this engine, which is now ready to be presented through Just Cause 4, which will see a significant qualitative leap in the series’ history. It is enough to say that all models in the game world are now destructible.

Additionally, the protagonist, Rico, will contribute to the graphics engine with refining several features such as the grappling hook and the ability to play vertically. All of these are features that this new engine will enable, and which we can see a glimpse of through the video presentation below. It is worth noting that the release of Just Cause 4 is expected on December 4th for both Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Best regards.
