Watch how I enjoy daily by hacking dozens of internet-connected devices and manipulating them without their owners knowing.

If you are a fan of hacking, then you must have tried repeatedly to access your friends’ computers, surveillance cameras, website servers, routers, and even information systems for some companies such as electricity and water supply companies, for example. It seems very enjoyable and entertaining, especially knowing that no one knows that you have hacked it and manipulating their device settings as you wish, thus obtaining very valuable information that you can use for other purposes, such as knowing the websites visited by a specific person by hacking their router, and this is what we will discuss in detail in one of the upcoming posts from the “Haho for Information Technology” blog. Today, we will only share with you a technology that allows you to hack devices infected with a vulnerability or with open ports connected to the internet, so stay tuned.

We will rely on the Shodan website, known for being the most dangerous search engine in the world. This site searches and displays all devices connected to the internet, giving you very sensitive information about them such as IP address, internet service provider, open ports, and more. By using this IP address, you can directly access the web page of the device’s settings, such as the router or surveillance camera, for example. When you enter this page, you only need to know the default username and password for this device. Most people do not change these default settings, so in most cases, you just need to use the word “admin” for the username and password to access the device settings. If this method does not work for you, you can simply search on Google for “device name default password and username” by replacing “device name” with the device name. For example, if you want to search for the default username and password for a Hikvision V2 surveillance camera, you can search for “Hikvision V2 default username and password” on Google and you will find many results that will serve the purpose.
To apply these steps, all you have to do now is go to the Shodan website, which we will leave the link to below the post, and create a free account by clicking on “create a free account.”

Then, go to the search bar and write the name of any device you want, such as router, webcam, and others. Thousands of search results will be displayed that you can try and attempt to hack these devices using default login settings. If these default settings do not work for you, there is no need to waste time, just move on to another device and try to access it, and in most cases, your success rate will be 90% because, as we mentioned earlier, most people do not change the default username and password.
In the example below, I tried to access the settings of a router from Brazil, but unfortunately, the owner of the router changed the default login settings.

There is another trick that allows you to search for devices within a specific range, for example, a specific country or city. You can simply write “country: cc” with cc replaced by the code for your country, for Morocco it’s ma, for Algeria dz, and for Tunisia tn, for example.
