Unveiling the First Official Trailer for FBC: Firebreak Game, Derived from Control

The multiplayer game set in the world of Control, FBC: Firebreak, has been revealed for the first time by Remedy. It is classified as a cooperative experience for three players, featuring a brighter and more diverse touch to the famous Remedy world.

Director Mike Kayatta stated that FBC: Firebreak is “not downloadable content for Control and is definitely not a sequel to Control.” Instead, Remedy described it as a game you can “enjoy with your friends and engage in many collaborative tasks.”

It puts players in the role of the first responders from the Federal Bureau of Control who fight enemies in The Oldest House using “supernatural augmentations,” which are “modified elements” designed in tool attachments.

The studio said about the game:

We have always delivered single-player games at Remedy, and rest assured, we have more single-player games in development, and they will be great. But for a long time, we wanted to create a PvE multiplayer game. There are many of us here who love playing together alongside single-player. We don’t want to make the same types of games all the time; it’s good to take on new challenges.

FBC: Firebreak will be released for PC and home entertainment platforms in 2025, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one.
