Uncovering the real reason behind the cancellation of A Way Out game release in Arab markets
We have learned recently that the game A Way Out has been canceled from being released on Arab stores for both Xbox and PlayStation 4, as confirmed by the EA team. They announced the decision because the game contains scenes that are very inappropriate in its content.
Furthermore, in an interview, Mr. Josef Fares, the game director, confirmed that the characters in the game will appear in a scene completely naked.
Based on this, the official representative of EA in the Middle East has decided to completely ban the game A Way Out and not send it for review by the committee responsible for monitoring the content of games in all Gulf Arab countries.
Unfortunately, the development team and EA have shown no response to modifying or completely blocking these scenes, which will result in the game losing a large portion of its audience here in the Middle East.
The audience was very excited to experience a new and different cooperative game, but unfortunately, the release of the game A Way Out is still awaited on March 23 for both Xbox, PlayStation 4, and PC. Best regards.
