Ubisoft has announced the cancellation of early access for the game Assassin’s Creed Shadows, following the
postponement of the game’s release date to February 2025.
This decision comes after a series of challenges faced by the game, including cultural criticisms and the original launch date delay that was set for November 2024.
Ubisoft clarified that the game needs more work to improve some aspects, and that the Collector’s Edition will be available at the same time as the general release of the game, with a reduction in price from $280 to $230, while most of the contents of the special edition remain the same, including the character statue, map, and art prints.
The company also confirmed that the game will not include Season Passes, and that the special edition will still contain some digital extras like the Sekiryu pack and skill points.
