Top Upgrades to Prioritize First in Unknown 9: Awakening
Upgrading Riposte is also worth unlocking, but not as essential as Parry.
Double Dodge
The Double Dodge upgrade in Unknown 9: Awakening is one of the basic skills that must be learned. This upgrade allows you to dodge twice in quick succession. The first dodge may be weak and not very useful, so turning it into a double dodge that covers a longer distance makes it worth upgrading as quickly as possible.
Bracer Overdrive
The Bracer Overdrive upgrade is useful during hand-to-hand combat in Unknown 9, as it increases movement speed and attack power if you manage to avoid incoming hits. Although the increase is not significant, especially with the ease of taking hits, it gives you a helpful boost.
Quaestor’s Grace
Another upgrade to get in Unknown 9: Awakening is Quaestor’s Grace, which prevents you from dying from a fatal blow and makes you immune to danger for a short period after having almost received a fatal blow. While the game is not difficult, this upgrade gives you a chance to escape death.
Stealth Upgrades
An important part of the gameplay in Unknown 9 is stealth combat, where Haroona can sneak and silently eliminate enemies using her various abilities. There are some upgrades that make this style easier and more effective.
Elite Takedown
Most enemies can be killed with stealth attacks, but there are special enemies called Elites that cannot be dealt with stealthily initially. This necessary upgrade allows you to kill these enemies as you do with others, preventing them from thwarting your stealth attempts.
Blind Spot
The Blind Spot upgrade may not be flashy or very exciting, but it makes the stealth style more effective. After purchasing this upgrade, it takes enemies longer to detect you and sound the alarm, making stealth easier.
Swiftness
The Swiftness upgrade increases your movement speed while crouching and reduces the noise you make while running. This upgrade may seem ordinary, but it makes a big difference in crucial moments.
Improved Shroud
The final upgrade in the stealth tree is Improved Shroud, which takes a long time to obtain, but it is worth it. This upgrade reduces the energy consumption of the Shroud, allowing you to stay in stealth mode for a longer period.
