Is there an end to unique and new programs? Definitely not, as the date is always renewed with the series of the best programs of the week, where we showcase a collection of the newest computer programs that have been recently published. But… it’s not that easy! In the world of computers, we select and test to make this weekly topic the best of its kind and contains the most distinguished new programs that you, as a computer user and Windows operating system user, must download and install on your device. So, after we reviewed 5 diverse programs last week, let’s now highlight the summary of the best computer programs that we have tested over the course of this week.
It is a new and unique recovery software from Seagate, but it was previously available for download and use for $100, but now it is available for free for all Windows or Mac users. So I wanted to start the list with it, especially after testing it and verifying its efficiency in recovering deleted files. While it is specifically designed to work on Seagate storage drives, it will work without any problems with any type of storage units, including those not manufactured by Seagate.
Premium Recovery Software has a simple and clear graphical interface, ensuring the easiest user experience. Besides its ability to recover all types of deleted files in their original state, the program can also perform other functions. You can use it to check the status of the hard drive and detect its problems, or securely delete personal files so that they are not recoverable by any recovery program. [Download the program]
Note: You will need to enter a valid email address where the free activation code and direct download link of the program will be sent.

Overall, the program is very fast in scanning files and very accurate, and the user interface is easy to use even for beginners. In addition to being free, the program is portable and can be used without installation on the computer. [Download the program]
3- USB Lockit Program
USB Lockit is a free program that prevents the exposure of sensitive data stored on USB drives in case of theft or loss. The program does not encrypt files; instead, it makes them invisible in a way that prevents any other party from seeing them. All you need to do is make sure the USB drive is formatted with the FAT32 file system, then copy the program to this flash drive and run it. A window will appear where you must enter a six-digit combination that is used to lock/unlock the flash drive, then press “LOCK” and all important files will disappear. When you want to view the files again, open the USBLockit file, enter the password, and then press “UNLOCK” to restore the files.
If you connect this flash drive to your Android phone via an OTG cable, you can also download the USB Lockit application from Google Play, which allows you to unlock the flash drive and access files on the phone easily. Therefore, the program is ideal for securing external storage units such as flash drives or SD cards and preventing their content from being detected by intruders. [Download the program]
Note: The program may not work in some versions of Windows 10. To solve the issue, right-click on the USBLockit file and select Properties, then click on Compatibility Troubleshooter and try running the program again.
4- dnGrep Program
dnGrep is an open-source program that can be used to search for a specific text within documents or any type of text files, supporting various formats such as DOC, DOCX, XLS, and PDF. If you remember some words or a phrase from a document but do not know the name or location of the document, open the program, type the search term in the Search for field, and click the (…) button next to the Folder field at the top to specify the expected location of the document, or leave it blank to search the entire hard drive. After clicking the “Search” button, wait a moment for the search process.
In the bottom part of the program window, a list of document names that contain a match for the specified term or word is displayed, along with the number of times the word was mentioned in each file. By right-clicking on any file and selecting “Preview File,” a quick preview of the document’s contents will appear with the searched word highlighted in yellow. dnGrep program is full of useful features, such as replacing a specific word with another in multiple documents at once, so I recommend trying it now and exploring its features yourself. The graphical interface is simple and organized, displaying information about each component in a specific section. For example, if you want to view details about the graphics card, simply click on the section with the card’s name to see the temperature, power consumption, load level, and more. You can save this report in a TXT file for later reference.
One of the features of Libre Hardware Monitor is that it allows remote monitoring of computer performance. You can run it as a server and access it from anywhere in the world through a browser. 7- HotCorners Program
HotCorners is a simple and free program that brings the Hot Corners feature unique to Apple macOS system to Windows devices. This feature allows users to perform specific tasks when moving the mouse pointer to any corner of the screen and leaving the pointer there for a while. So after running the HotCorners program on your device, all you have to do is specify what actions you want to take when directing the mouse pointer to each corner of the screen.
The program offers predefined actions such as opening the Task Manager, activating the lock screen, muting the sound, shutting down the computer, or you can specify a specific program to run. Then set the Sensitivity, which is the duration the pointer must be in the corner to trigger the action, i.e., how quickly the specified action is taken. When finished, press Reload, and the program will work in the background to monitor the mouse pointer’s location. [Download the program]
