Top Android apps to download this week [29-7-2017]

Our weekly article is back, where we take a look at a selection of new Android apps that may be beneficial to users. As always, we focus on free apps as well as apps that have received important updates. In addition, we don’t hesitate to mention older apps that have recently been discovered as long as they provide value. Last week’s article featured a wonderful collection of apps which you can check out here. In this article, the apps are as follows:

Loopsie:

First app in this collection that falls into the video editing and manipulation category, Loopsie stands out for its real-time video shooting feature where part of the video moves while the rest remains stationary. This creates a magical blend of images and video. The app also comes with advanced shooting algorithms including content stability algorithm without the need for a tripod. Motion Stills:

Google finally responded to user demands by launching Motion Stills, an app that converts Live Photos into GIFs and short animated videos. It also allows importing multiple photos and converting them into GIFs. The app features a photo editor for adding stickers, text, and even adjusting the speed of animated images to users’ liking. Sapphyx Launcher Phase 2:

One of the newest launcher apps on the Google Play Store, Sapphyx Launcher Phase 2 brings Android Nougat 7.0 features to Android 6.0 users. The app offers customization options for icons, backgrounds, colors, shortcuts, scrolling, notifications, and notification center similar to Android Nougat 7.0. HTC Alexa:

Following the trend of personal assistants, HTC joins the competition with HTC Alexa, a voice assistant powered by artificial intelligence technology. Curve Text on Photo:

The final app in the collection, Curve Text on Photo allows users to add text in a customizable way on their photos. Users can edit the text with different fonts and shapes, along with other photo editing tools including filters. The app is available for free on the Google Play Store.
