The Thunder Burst SMG is one of the latest additions to the weapon arsenal in the game, first appearing in Chapter 5. This weapon operates similarly in a frightening manner to the Burst Assault Rifle from previous seasons, firing a burst of three shots with each trigger pull. While Thunder Burst SMG may not reach the range of many assault rifles in the game, it is still impressive for an SMG, solidifying its place as one of the best weapons in Fortnite.
The Thunder Burst SMG is considered one of the best weapons in Chapter 5 for several reasons. Firstly, its great potential in dealing damage, with up to 70 damage for the common model if all shots from a burst hit the target. As mentioned earlier, the impressive range of this weapon, with a slight drop in damage at long distances and almost no dispersion when using the right modifications. Additionally, this weapon can penetrate wooden structures due to its intermittent fiery nature, allowing players to pressure opponents who constantly rebuild walls, making it a perfect weapon for box fights.

Although the Combat Shotgun is one of the weapons returning in Chapter 5 Season 3, its original version from Chapter 1 Season 9 is considered the strongest so far. This shotgun served as a replacement for the Pump Shotgun in Season 9, and while it was weaker in terms of damage per shot, the Combat Shotgun excelled over the Pump in terms of overall damage per second (DPS). This shotgun was a formidable force in Season 9, characterized by its extremely high fire rate and tight bullet spread, making it ideal for mid-range battles.
However, the effective damage range of the Combat Shotgun was very high when it was first added, capable of dealing damage up to 60 meters, especially effective in the range of 15 to 20 meters. This significant power was the reason for a necessary reduction in damage range and fire rate. Nevertheless, the Combat Shotgun remained the most common weapon in close-range battles during the first season, making it one of the best weapons in that season overall.

The Heavy Sniper Rifle is one of the few weapons in Fortnite that are regularly brought back and rarely modified or changed. In fact, this weapon was barely modified after its first appearance in Chapter 1 Season 5, except for some changes to the damage it inflicts on structures and headshot damage. With the highest body damage rate compared to any other sniper, this weapon was a formidable force in long-range battles for a long time, easily killing opponents from afar.
Despite the Heavy Sniper’s strength in long-range combat, it also proved effective in other aspects. Its terrifying firing sound instilled fear in players in the seasons it was added, including even close-range battles. This was due to its ability to destroy player structures in one shot, making it a significant problem even during building battles. All these factors make the Heavy Sniper one of the most powerful weapons in Fortnite’s history, with the only challenge being its slow reload speed.

Despite the appearance of sniper rifles several times in different Fortnite seasons, the Reaper Sniper Rifle is considered one of the best. This weapon appeared for the first time in Chapter 5 Season 1 and was the optimal choice for players who prefer to eliminate opponents from a distance. When comparing it to the traditional Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle, the statistics are almost identical, especially in terms of damage per shot. However, the major feature of the Reaper Sniper Rifle is its larger magazine capacity.
The Reaper Sniper Rifle comes with three shots by default, reducing the time wasted between each shot, especially considering that the fire rate of this weapon is not slow compared to the original version.
