Stalker 2 is one of the most anticipated games for Xbox fans this year. It is considered a platform exclusive and promises to be a promising and exciting experience, receiving highly positive previews and being considered a new contender for “Game of the Year”.
However, the initial communication between the game developer, GSC Game World, and Phil Spencer seemed to be quite bizarre. The developer mentioned that after reopening the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World, they tried to contact Phil Spencer but had no means of reaching him. Eventually, they found his official email shared in a Reddit thread and used it to communicate with the Xbox leader.
With a simple message titled “Hello, we are the GSC team and we want to bring STALKER 2 to your platform”, the fruitful relationship between the two parties began. Spencer promptly responded and started working on bringing the game to Xbox.
The game developer had also mentioned that running STALKER 2 on Xbox Series S was initially challenging.
