Remake of Splinter Cell Game Will Offer a Completely Updated Story to New Players

In keeping up with all the details that emerge from time to time, we cannot miss the opportunity to mention the new news that emerged today regarding the Splinter Cell game, the upcoming installment as a remake which was announced earlier this year.

After years of anticipation for the return of this series, Ubisoft finally decided to listen to its audience and revive the famous series with the character of the spy, Sam Fisher.

But before its permanent return, the series’ first part is being remade completely redesigned. The project has been assigned to the Ubisoft Toronto studio and it has been confirmed that the game will use the famous Snowdrop graphics engine, which has been exclusively worked on by developers of The Division series.

Before being used in other upcoming projects, which may include titles like Avatar Frontiers of Pandora and Star Wars, and finally the Splinter Cell Remake game that is currently being highlighted, new details have emerged as part of a job posting within the development studio.

It has been revealed that the upcoming game will not only focus on graphics and gameplay environments but also on the story itself. The development team confirmed during the recruitment of a new scenario writer that they are working on reviewing a set of fundamentals related to the game’s events, after deciding to update them to align with the opinions and ideas of the current generation of players.

This raises more questions, could the game include elements that serve certain recently promoted agendas? Anything is possible as long as the main events are completely changed. We will have to wait for more time to get new details related to it, but until then, we will follow all the details related to it in case any important updates arise specifically related to this refreshed storyline.
