Sega’s Sonic X Shadow Generations game is now available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and we have an official launch trailer to celebrate this occasion.
The promotional video showcases the two main conflicts in the series, classic Sonic and modern Sonic fighting Time Eater in Sonic Generations, and Shadow facing Black Doom in Shadow Generations. While the first game was released in 2011, the latter is a completely new title, with Shadow dealing with threats from his past.
Interestingly, the new title has managed to sell over a million copies across all platforms on launch day, a staggering number expected to double in the coming days.
Sega will release downloadable content for the game in December, which will include a new level and voice acting for the character Shadow voiced by Keanu Reeves, who will also portray the character in the upcoming film Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
