One individual on Reddit attached an image showing that he has renewed his Plus subscription for a period of 24 years until 2048, stating that his reason for doing so was to avoid future price hikes or the service becoming unimportant or unattractive to players.

Now, let’s get into the calculations related to renewing the subscription until 2048. The player was able to reduce the cost smartly by first renewing his subscription for the entire period through the Essential tier, which cost him around $2000, and then upgrading to Premium by paying only $199 for the entire period. With this amount, he managed to save almost half of the amount paid, instead of paying over $4000 to renew the subscription for the Premium tier, he paid just over $2000.
