Solving the Issue of Unable to Complete Operation Due to Full Disk in Photoshop

If you are a Photoshop user and also a Windows 7 user, you may have encountered this problem: “The operation could not be completed because the workspace is full.” You have two choices, either continue reading this post (solving the problem of C drive filling up due to Windows 7) or follow the final solution for this issue through this post.

Continue reading the rest of the post for more details…

First, the idea is based on Photoshop, when used, opens a set of temporary files (meaning downloading them to the disk used in Windows, such as drive C), so we will make Photoshop download these temporary files on another drive ☺ (Temporary: meaning files that occupy the disk only when using Photoshop, then delete afterwards)

Let’s start, open Photoshop, then click on Edit, then Preferences, then choose plugins and scratch disk

Then, in the first box, choose any drive with a large empty space (as you can see, I chose drive E), and in the second box, either leave it blank or put another drive with a large empty space, so that if the space of the first drive is consumed, Photoshop will use the next drive, and so on.

The problem has been solved and you will not see this message again ☺
