Solving Chrome Browser Problems with the Reset Chrome Feature
If you do not find the reset option as we will explain in the following lines, you should update your Google Chrome browser to the latest version 29 in order for the feature to work. Through this feature, Google Chrome browser on your device will be reset to default as if you are installing it for the first time. However, all extensions and settings will be deleted, and the settings will return to default. However, you will not lose themes, bookmarks, or applications.
Now, to use the feature, go to Settings in the Google Chrome browser from the menu, then click on Show advanced settings, and then click on Reset browser settings.
By doing so, the browser on your device will return to default settings and all the problems you face, which are often caused by incorrect settings or extensions, will be resolved. Since all extensions will be deleted and settings will return to default, the problem will be solved and you will start with a completely new version of Google Chrome. I believe this feature is indeed very important and a strong addition to Google Chrome, as sometimes we do need to start anew with a completely new version of the browser.
