Silent Hill 2 Remake Developer Announces New Project: Cronos The New Dawn

Bloober Team wasted no time revealing their new project after releasing the Silent Hill 2 remake, as they announced the survival horror game Cronos The New Dawn during the Xbox Preview event with a confirmed release date in 2025.
It is a third-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi world that will launch in 2025. Check out the first teaser trailer below.
The protagonist is seen in a fortified suit, battling terrifying enemies. The shots alternate between him and playing chess with a blood-covered old woman, and in the end, he pushes the chessboard aside and uses a strange device on it (not shown).
The shots hint at potential gameplay elements, such as destructible environments and a weapon that transforms from a pistol into a melee weapon, ending with a destroyed building and a mutated creature made of multiple bodies.
The game transports us to 1980s Poland (the developer’s headquarters) and is currently in development for PC, Xbox Series, and PS5. It is the studio’s first original horror survival game and is expected to be released in 2025.
