Samsung to Release a Special Edition of Galaxy Z Fold 6 in South Korea

Samsung has announced the launch of a special edition of its foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition, in South Korea. The phone features a thinner and lighter design compared to previous versions, making it more comfortable and easier to use on a daily basis.

The phone has a thickness of 10.6mm and weighs only 236 grams, making it the thinnest and lightest in the Galaxy Z Fold series so far. Additionally, Samsung has enhanced the design using high-quality materials such as metal and glass, with a striped pattern adorning the back cover for a stylish and modern touch.

The key upgrade in this special edition includes a 200-megapixel camera, a significant leap from the 50-megapixel main camera in the previous version. This update will provide users with an improved photography experience, whether in photos or videos, with greater clarity and finer details.

The phone is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm, significantly boosting the device’s performance, especially in multitasking and artificial intelligence applications. The RAM has also been increased to 16GB, providing smooth operation and navigation between different apps.

As for the screen, Samsung has slightly increased its size without support for the expected S Pen stylus. The special edition comes with storage capacity of up to 512GB, unlike the previous version which offered options ranging from 256GB to terabytes.

The special edition supports Wi-Fi 7 networks, allowing for faster download and streaming speeds compared to the previous version that supports Wi-Fi 6e. This enhances the user experience in gaming and online content viewing.

The battery has a capacity of 4400 mAh, unchanged from the previous version. However, overall performance remains excellent thanks to system improvements and compatibility with the new processor.

The phone is currently available in South Korea for around $2,000, but Samsung has not yet released any information on its availability in international markets.
