Samsung prepares to launch special editions of Galaxy Z Fold and W25 Flip in China and Korea.
Samsung is preparing to launch new versions of its foldable phones, with the announcement of the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition expected on October 21. This version, considered a larger and thinner version of the Galaxy Z Fold6, will be limited to the Korean and Chinese markets only.
In another development, the launch of the W25 Flip phone in China is also expected, which is a special edition of the Galaxy Z Flip6 designed for the Chinese market. The W25 Flip features a completely new back design that catches the eye and gives the device a unique look, with leaks pointing to details of this new design after the device received the mandatory Chinese TENAA certification before official sales begin.
As for the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition phone, it will be sold in China under the name Samsung W25, with model number SM-W9025, while the W25 Flip comes with model number SM-W7025.
The W25 Flip phone has the same dimensions as the usual Galaxy Z Flip6, but weighs 198 grams, slightly heavier likely due to the use of different materials. The device features a foldable touch screen with a size of 6.7 inches and a resolution of 1080 x 2640, in addition to an outer screen of 3.4 inches.
Under the hood, the W25 Flip features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 12GB of RAM, and internal storage capacity of up to 512GB, making it capable of delivering powerful performance. In terms of photography, the phone comes equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel secondary camera, and a 10-megapixel selfie camera.
