Samsung announces Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7 with 3-nanometer processor
Samsung has announced today new versions of its smart watches, including the Galaxy Watch Ultra, which competes with the Apple Watch Ultra, and the Galaxy Watch 7.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra comes in a 47mm size with an OLED screen measuring 1.5 inches and a resolution of 480×480. The screen is protected by a layer of crystal and can reach a brightness of up to 3000nits.
The watch is waterproof and dustproof to IP68 standard and has received MIL-STD-810H certification for resistance to water, dust, and strong shocks. It can withstand temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius and as high as 55 degrees Celsius, as well as depths of up to 9000 meters above water and -500 meters below water.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is powered by the Samsung Exynos W1000 processor manufactured with 3 nanometer precision, which is three times faster than the W930 processor and consumes 30% less power. It has 2GB of RAM and runs on Wear OS 5 with One UI 6 interface.
Through the watch, you can track your heart rate, monitor blood pressure, skin temperature, blood sugar levels, and get better sleep tracking with artificial intelligence. It also tracks your sports activities and exercises, primarily targeted at athletes.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is currently available for pre-order and will be available for sale on July 24 for $650.
