Some, like journalist Jason Schreier, find Xbox’s exclusivity strategy confusing for everyone, but rumors continue to swirl about more Xbox exclusives coming to the PS5 platform.
MAAG, the leaker who originally informed us about Xbox studio games coming to PlayStation and Nintendo, has returned to add new games that are also coming to PlayStation 5. He said on the XNC podcast that all big Xbox exclusives will arrive on PS5/PS5PRO. Among these games are Fable, Gears E:Day, Perfect Dark, Avowed, Blade, and Halo.
He also added that many Xbox Games studios have development teams for the PS5PRO. The game Gears: E-DAY is being developed for the PlayStation 5 alongside Xbox, meaning it could be released for Xbox and PlayStation 5 on the same day.
Earlier this year, Microsoft started releasing some of its previous exclusive games on PlayStation, starting with smaller and older games like Hi-Fi Rush. Recently, the company announced that another big new title will follow the same path. The game Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, set to release in December on Xbox and PC, will also come to PlayStation in spring 2025.
