PS5 Update Now Available for Download – Changes Activity Display to Reflect Player Progress
Sony has released a new update for the PS5 operating system with the version number 24.07-10.20.00, which changes how activities are displayed to reflect the player’s progress.
What else does the update offer? As expected, the new update also improves the performance and stability of system software, as well as messages and ease of use on certain screens. The update comes with a size of 1.3GB according to Sony.
The recent updates also included files for 3D audio profiles for headphones and earphones, the adaptive charging feature for the controller’s LED (designed to save energy), more settings for Remote Play feature, and once players have updated their PS5, they also need to update their controller software to use the new features.
It is worth noting that the adaptive charging feature works with the DualSense wireless controller, DualSense Edge wireless controller, PS VR2 Sense controllers, and Access controller when connected to a USB Type-C port.
