Project 007 Game from Hitman Developer to Feature Young James Bond

We already know that Project 007 is the upcoming project from IO Interactive studio, with new releases for the HITMAN series on hold for some time. While the game is still far from an official reveal, the Danish development studio has shared more details in the past few hours.

In a new interview with the global IGN network, the IO team is currently fully focused on Project 007, which is entirely financed and produced within the studio. An original story has been crafted that has no connection to any previous film in the cinematic series, giving players a fresh and new perspective on the iconic secret agent character.

The studio states that Project 007 will introduce players to a young James Bond, meaning that we will see the character from a different perspective compared to the films that often depict him as a savvy and seasoned spy. With a completely original story making its debut, players will interact with Bond in an unprecedented way.

The studio hopes to reveal additional details about the game in the near future, and it’s possible that the project won’t be limited to just one game, but rather a full trilogy similar to the recent Hitman games.

According to previously surfaced information, theĀ IO Interactive team was working on a new animation system and artificial intelligence system specifically tailored for the James Bond project before many of those details were removed from job listings to avoid rumors and leaks.

As per the information revealed, Project 007 is a third-person stealth game that incorporates elements of adventure games, including maps, enemies, and challenges that adapt to the player’s actions.
