Previewing Links on Chrome Browser without Opening Them
First, open the Chrome app on your Android phone or tablet> Go to any website> Then, look for a “Link” on the page> Long press on the link until a pop-up menu appears; where the menu includes options to open in incognito mode, copy the link, and more> but what we want is the “Preview page” option. Once clicked, the link will open in the preview section of the current page. You can view the page you preview as you would with any other website. You will also be able to open any link you specify within the preview in the preview section as well.

If you want to open the page in a full tab, click on the arrow icon in the box at the top. This will create a tab group with the original page you were on. To close the preview, drag down from the top scroll bar in the pop-up page or click on the “X” icon. That’s all there is to it!
