Poco F7 Ultra appears on IMEI list with exciting specifications
Poco company started working on the Poco F7 series in July last year, with the Pro model being spotted in the IMEI database. Pro models are usually the flagship models in the Poco F series, but it seems that things may change with the Poco F7 series.
Recently, the new Poco F7 Ultra phone was revealed in the IMEI list with the model number 24122RKC7G, and it was spotted by a user on platform X, appearing alongside the Poco F7 Pro. What is noteworthy is that the model number of the Poco F7 Ultra matches the model number of the Redmi K80, indicating that the Poco F7 Ultra may be a modified version of the Chinese phone Redmi K80.
If these details are confirmed, the Redmi K80 phone is likely to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, as well as a flat OLED screen with 2K resolution, which is said to be manufactured by TCL according to previous reports. Rumors also suggest that the device may have a close-up lens capable of capturing macro shots, adding a great feature for photography enthusiasts.
Additionally, it is rumored that the phone will have a large battery with a capacity of up to 6500 mAh. The adoption of large batteries, especially those reaching a capacity of 6000 mAh, is expected to be a prevalent trend for smartphones in 2024, with many flagship devices expected to include batteries in this range. It is worth mentioning that the Redmi Note 14 Pro + phone will also feature a 6200 mAh battery cell.
We also expect the phone to have at least an IP68 rating, and possibly even IP69, especially after the confirmation that the lower-cost Redmi Note 14 Pro has an IP69 rating.
The Redmi K80 will be launched along with its Pro model, which is expected to also have the same chipset, if not the new Snapdragon 8 Elite, along with the screen, with expectations of differences in charging specifications and battery capacity.
