Oppo launches its new phone Oppo K12 Plus

Oppo has announced the launch of its new smartphone Oppo K12 Plus, a mid-range device and the latest addition to the K12 series released by the company this year.
The Oppo K12 Plus features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of +Full HD, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a brightness of up to 1100 nits, and touch support even when wet.
The phone includes a shock-absorbing structure developed internally by the company, with a design that includes a safety cushion for full protection when dropped.
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage, expandable up to a terabyte with an external microSD card. It runs on Android 14 OS with ColorOS 14 interface.
In terms of photography, the phone features three rear cameras; a 50MP main camera with optical stabilization, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 16MP front camera.
The device also includes the AI-powered smart eraser feature, as well as the ability to create emojis using images of people, pets, or objects.
The phone boasts a large 6400mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging and reverse wired charging. According to the company, the battery can be charged up to 50% in 20 minutes using an 80W charger.
Other features of the phone include an X-Axis motor for realistic vibrations during gaming, dual speakers, NFC support, IP54 water and dust resistance, 5G connectivity, and steam chamber cooling system.
The phone is available in two colors, white and black, with a starting price of around $300. The company will first make it available in the Chinese market in October.
