OPPO launches ColorOS 15 interface built on Android 15 with new updates.

Oppo has officially unveiled the launch of its new interface ColorOS 15, based on Android 15, during a special event in China. This version came with multiple updates in the user interface design, with some effects inspired by Apple’s iOS system.

Oppo has emphasized its focus on improving motion effects in the new system, introducing two engines named “Aurora” and “Tidal” aimed at enhancing smooth navigation between applications and performance speed. This technology allows effects to run in parallel, significantly improving the user experience.

The updates were not limited to motion effects alone, as they also included improvements in app installation speed by 26% and app response time by 18%. The changes also included a separation between the notification panel and quick settings, a similar update to what Samsung, Apple, and Xiaomi have previously offered, without specifying customization options.

One of the key features of ColorOS 15 is the wider use of artificial intelligence in image processing, where users can benefit from advanced tools to remove noise, enhance image quality, intelligently remove reflections, and summarize content more effectively.

Oppo also introduced a new feature similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island interactive feature, as well as a highly customizable lock screen where users can easily set different settings and separate background elements.

The smart assistant in the new system closely resembles Siri’s interface, enhancing the smart interaction experience with the phone.

It is expected that Oppo will begin rolling out the ColorOS 15 update in China starting in November, gradually expanding to global markets until March. The company also plans to launch the OPPO Find X8 series on October 24, with the new system pre-installed.
