One of the cheapest Samsung phones receives important Android security update.
While preparing for the security patch arrival for September to its flagship devices, Samsung continues to release the August Android update on some of its budget phones. A good example of this is that the Korean giant has started rolling out this update on Samsung Galaxy M34 5G phones worldwide.
As confirmed by specialized media SamMobile, the South Korean brand has started rolling out the August 2024 Android update on the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G phone in several regions of the world with the firmware version M346BXXS5CXH1.
This new software update brings the August 2024 security patch to the Galaxy M34 5G, addressing a total of 50 security and privacy vulnerabilities, fixing some general bugs in the user interface discovered in previous versions of One UI, and improving the stability and performance of the phone.
After receiving the update to One UI 6.0 with Android 14 at the end of last year, it is expected that the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G will be updated to One UI 6.1.1 in the coming months and will receive the Android 14 update with One UI 7 at the beginning of next year.
If you have a Samsung Galaxy M34 5G and want to check if you have already received this new security update, all you need to do is access the settings menu on your smartphone and go to the software update section.
Once available, just click the download and install button and let One UI take care of updating your device with the latest Android security patch.
