Omar develops Black Ops 6 story longer than Cold War story.

One of the key elements in Call of Duty games has always been the story mode missions that most players enjoy before diving into multiplayer mode. However, the stories are short, taking less than 10 hours to complete, but last year’s MW3 game was a disaster in terms of the game’s lifespan.

In a recent report from Charlie Intel, Treyarch confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will feature a longer story mode this year, “Longer than Black Ops Cold War.” However, Black Ops Cold War was one of the shortest story modes in Call of Duty history, coming at the bottom of the list alongside Vanguard and MW3.

The story mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will take about six to nine hours, described by Treyarch’s production director, Yale Miller, as a “kind of classic Call of Duty story mode length.” However, assistant creative director at Raven Software, John Zook, steals the spotlight with his statement that Black Ops 6 will be longer than Cold War “even if you try to finish it in record speed run time.”

Since MW2, we haven’t had a long Call of Duty story mode that takes nine hours to complete. Additionally, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 story mode has a replayability factor, allowing players to complete missions in different ways.
