Official Announcement of WWE 2K23 Game and Cover Athlete Revealed
As expected due to the amount of leaks that have surfaced in recent times, the spotlight was shed on the unveiling of the next installment of the popular WWE wrestling game series, titled WWE 2K23, in the early hours of yesterday.
Publisher 2K Sports officially revealed the new installment after a series of leaks and rumors in the recent past. The release date was also set for all platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, along with previous generation consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The global release date was set for March 17, 2023, but this timeframe can be reduced by three days if you get the game version targeted at collectors under the name Icon Edition, available for $120.
For this purpose, the development team, along with publisher 2K, presented the first images related to the official cover of this new version. As previous rumors suggested, the cover star will be the famous sports icon John Cena in recognition of his contributions to the series over the years and his appearance on the cover twenty years ago.
All copies of WWE 2K23 game will feature the image of the champion John Cena, and undoubtedly, the upcoming phase will see a greater focus on marketing the game before its global launch.
