Today, Nothing announced a new phone, the Phone (2a) Plus.
The Phone (2a) Plus is a minor update of the Phone (2a), with improvements to the processor, front camera, addition of a grey color option, and slight changes to the black color.
The Phone (2a) Plus features a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a front camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels, up from 32 megapixels in the Phone (2a).
The Phone (2a) Plus comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro processor, offering faster performance than the Dimensity 7200 Pro in the Phone (2a). Nothing states that the processor is 10% faster in CPU tasks and 30% faster in GPU tasks compared to the Dimensity 7200 Pro.
The phone comes with 8 or 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a 5,000 mAh battery with 50W fast charging support, and dual rear cameras with 50-megapixel main and wide-angle lenses.
The Phone (2a) Plus features an in-display fingerprint reader and runs Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.6, which includes some AI features like ChatGPT. The phone will be available for purchase on August 3rd starting at $334.
