Connections is the latest puzzle game from The New York Times. The game challenges you to categorize a group of 16 words into four secret groups (currently) by figuring out how the words are related to each other. The puzzle resets every night at midnight, with each new puzzle varying in difficulty. Just like Word, you can track your streaks and compare your results with friends.

How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll see a grid containing 16 words — your goal is to organize these words into four groups of four words by identifying the connections between them. These groups could include concepts like blockbuster movie titles, book series sequences, shades of red, restaurant chain names, and more.
There may be words that seem to fit multiple topics, but there is only one 100% correct answer. You can shuffle the word grid and rearrange it to help see potential connections more clearly.
Each group is color-coded. The yellow group is the easiest to identify, followed by green, blue, and purple groups.
Select four words and click Submit. If you are correct, the four words will be removed from the grid and the theme connecting them will be revealed. Guess incorrectly, and it will count as a mistake. You have only four mistakes available until the game ends.
