After IO Interactive, the development team behind the Hitman series, withdrew from Square Enix and retained the rights to the game, it was certainly a risky decision for the studio as it does not have a lot of resources to ensure the continuity of the series for as long as possible, something that has not been clear since its separation from Square Enix and things are going well.
It even excites and anticipates a new announcement regarding the Hitman game series starting from October 24th, but we do not yet know the nature of this announcement. Is it additional content for the Hitman release, or is it an official announcement for the second season of the game.
Regarding this, the media representative of the IO Interactive team mentioned that this announcement is not for the second season of Hitman, therefore this possibility can be canceled and remains only related to additional content.
