New Feature in Opera Browser Uses Artificial Intelligence to Organize Tab Bookmarks

Opera browser has introduced an innovative feature powered by artificial intelligence, allowing users to organize tabs more efficiently using natural language commands. This new feature enables users to group, pin, bookmark, and close tabs with ease.

This new feature, named “Aria”, allows users to activate the command bar by pressing Ctrl + Shift keys or Cmd + Shift keys, then typing the commands they want to execute. Users can request actions like “group all video tabs” or “bookmark all open tabs”, making it easier for them to manage a large number of open windows.

This feature also allows giving commands to specific websites, for example “close all YouTube tabs” or “group all shopping tabs”. This function is handy for users who prefer to open a large number of windows simultaneously, whether related to work or entertainment.

With hundreds of open tabs, utilizing the tab grouping feature becomes challenging. Therefore, this feature helps streamline window management and reduce the number of open tabs. If you have more than five open tabs, you can simply invoke this feature by right-clicking on any tab.

Currently, this feature is available through the AI embedding feature in the developer version of the Opera browser, and is expected to be rolled out soon in the public release. Last year, Opera also introduced the Opera Neon concept of tab grouping called “Tab Docks”, which automatically groups some tabs according to the general context.
