New and Unexpected Changes to the Highly Anticipated Pirate Game Project Skull and Bones!

New and unexpected changes to the highly anticipated Skull and Bones pirate game project!

The reveal of the Skull and Bones game from Ubisoft Studios came a long time ago, but the news about it continues, as we follow various gaming news and updates in the world of gaming.

We cannot ignore these facts as such without pointing them out. Over the past few months, we have dedicated a series of articles about the game, based on the latest developments revealed by Ubisoft, which confirmed that news about the game will be intensively available in the coming years, specifically between 2022 and 2023.

Although it is targeting a launch during this specific period, rumors and leaks have not stopped plaguing this game, which can be described as a curse that has haunted Ubisoft Studios since its initial reveal years ago.

Especially in 2017 when the game struggled to reach the excited fanbase, recent details we have highlighted in the last few months, particularly since September last year, were rumors from the highly trustworthy leaker Tom Henderson.

Through a tweet on his Twitter account, he mentioned that the game has changed significantly from its original concept, leading us to an adventure in an archipelago near Madagascar with gameplay focused on cooperation between players and NPC characters to search for treasures. This unique adventure allows control of five ships simultaneously, among many other elements he shared with us.

However, since that time, details have been completely absent until the recent hours following what was shared by developer Mr. Antoine Henry, who worked on the game from 2014 to 2017, as a lead world designer before transitioning to the game director in 2020.

Since then, while working with the Ubisoft Singapore team on the project with no updates on its progress, he announced today that he has decided to leave the company permanently after years of working on the undisclosed destination or fate of the Skull and Bones project, raising more than one question mark about the game as it still remains within Ubisoft’s plans in the near future.
