Netflix Introduces Latest Update to its Most Expensive Subscription with Two New Features

Netflix has announced the arrival of the Spatial Audio feature, which promises to provide a more immersive experience when enjoying content available on the service, as well as the ability to download content on a greater number of devices.

This new feature comes just days after the appearance of the method Netflix will use to prevent shared account usage. The company itself revealed in the press release that Netflix’s Premium plan now supports spatial audio on TVs, computers, phones, and tablets. Thanks to this feature, a more immersive experience is offered when consuming content from the basic system, without the need for additional equipment.

Spatial audio is available in over 700 different pieces of content. It will be possible to identify those series and movies compatible with this mode, as the spatial audio icon will appear next to them directly. There is also the option to type “Spatial Audio” in the Netflix search engine to see the full list of content available in this format.

On the other hand, Netflix now offers the option to download series and movies to watch offline on a greater number of devices. Premium service users will be able to download content on up to six devices, instead of four as was previously the case.

Despite the improvements, Netflix has not decided to raise the price of the Premium subscription, which still costs 17.99 euros per month and is the most expensive subscription on the platform.
