Motorola unveils its new phone, the Motorola Moto X40 – Strong specifications and affordable price

Motorola has just announced its new flagship for 2023. It is called the Motorola Moto X40 and it has everything you would expect from a premium smartphone, able to compete with other popular high-end models. It will be available worldwide, although it was introduced in China.

The Moto X40 is expected to leave China in a few weeks with a global launch event. The only expected change is the name. If you see this device in stores, you may know it as the Motorola Edge 40 Ultra.

The design offers a somewhat boxy phone with a curved screen, minimal bezels, an elegant and simple back. The camera module is not very prominent and includes 3 sensors.

The device features a 6.67-inch OLED display with FullHD+ resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is a curved edge panel, something no longer seen in high-end phones.

Powering the device is the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, one of the best processors Motorola could choose for 2023. It is accompanied by up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, the fastest and most advanced technologies currently available.

The photography department consists of a 50MP sensor, a 50MP wide-angle, and a 12MP telephoto lens. The front-facing interface includes a 60MP selfie camera.

Completing the device is a 4600mAh battery with 125W fast charging, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, 5G support, and Android 13. It will be available in black and blue colors.

The Moto X40 has been launched in China at an unprecedented and very attractive price. Of course, the price may vary slightly when it is launched in international markets.
